Kline & Company is seeking a highly motivated individual for consideration as a Statistician/Business Analyst for Kline’s multiclient market research studies division. This position will be based in our Kline India offices which are located at Gurgaon, Haryana.
Hands-on experience required in:
* All phases of market research projects from inception to delivery, including selection of research methodology, devising sampling plans, designing survey instruments, testing survey programs, preparing and managing data, enforcing data integrity & quality control, conducting analyses, as well as providing ad hoc analytical consultation
* Significance testing, various types of regression models, forecasting, customer satisfaction, and segmentation methodologies
* Designing tab specs and generating Xtabs
* Coordinating with 3rd party data collection vendors and facilities
* Providing analytical support to individuals at all levels
* Dealing with both large and small data files
* Ability to multi-task without sacrificing accuracy
* Attention to detail, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive
* Four or more years of MR experience in a leading retail, CPG, research supplier, and/or consulting
Academic background:
* Other than a Statistics major, someone in Economics, Econometrics, Management Engineering, Marketing Science, Decision Science, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research, or Social Science. These disciplines cover the broad base of applied market research and have a good background in statistics and/or management science
Computer skills (Required):
* SAS or SPSS
* Advanced Excel skills
Computer skills (Optional):
* MS Access
* VBA
* WinCross
